LATE ARRIVAL, REFUND, and CANCELLATION POLICY:

The student bears the responsibility to directly notify the tutor of any late arrival, cancellation, or request to reschedule a tutoring session.

Late Arrival:
In the event that the tutor has not received direct notification of the student’s late arrival, the tutor will wait for a period of 15 minutes past the scheduled start time before canceling the session. Such a session shall be recorded as a “no show,” and the student shall forfeit the session without refund.
If the tutor has been directly notified of the late arrival, the session shall proceed and conclude at the originally scheduled end time. Any extension of the session to compensate for the late arrival is subject solely to the tutor’s discretion and availability. The student shall be charged for the full scheduled session regardless of actual arrival time.

Cancellations:
The student must notify the tutor directly of any need to cancel a scheduled session due to illness or other reasons, providing as much advance notice as possible, but in no event less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, the student forfeits the session fee. For cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice, the parties shall endeavor to mutually agree upon a reschedule date. If no mutually agreeable date can be established, the student may elect either to receive a refund for the session or to retain the session on hold for a future date.
